Windle Court is a very special place and the staff are exceptional. They go above and beyond for there residents everyday! The activities are amazing and the love and care that goes into the everyday running of Windle is absolutely incredible. I would happily recommend this Care Home.

My wife’s room is well decorated and is kept scrupulously clean. The staff are some of the nicest people I have met. I visit my wife every day, and I am always greeted with a smile and a hello from all the staff. Also the food is excellent and varied. Well done Windle, a big thanks.

Our Dad was in Windle Court for 2 and a half years. The Staff cared for our Dad very well and made his life there very happy. The Staff are very caring and are so lovely. He loved music, and they used to dance with him.

Activities range from visits to local attractions using our minibus service and hosting monthly community events to joining the Runwood Ramblers walking group, alongside a wide variety of activities within the home.

At Windle Court, we follow the guidelines of the British Dietetic Association and the Care Home Digest to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are consistently met. Our freshly prepared meals cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences, bringing residents together in a welcoming, social, and dignified atmosphere where every mealtime is both enjoyable and nourishing.

Meet Our Home Manager

Kay Milbank

My name is Kay, and I am the Home Manager at Windle Court Care Home. I have worked at Windle Court for 12 years, starting my career as a Care Assistant before progressing to Care Team Leader (CTL), Deputy Manager, and now Home Manager. Having worked in each of these roles has given me a strong understanding of the home and the importance of delivering high-quality, person-centred care. I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel respected, supported, and at home. I am proud to have built my career at Windle Court and enjoy supporting both our residents and our team. My aim is to ensure we continue to provide the highest standards of care while maintaining a positive and friendly environment for everyone.
