Four Acres Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 13th February 2026 to celebrate friendship and companionship at a special Valentine’s-themed community coffee morning.
Organised by Kayleigh Hobbis, Lifestyle Coordinator at Four Acres, the event welcomed 20 residents for a relaxed and sociable morning filled with conversation, laughter and shared moments. The lounge was transformed with Valentine’s touches, creating a warm and cheerful setting for residents to enjoy time together.
Residents expressed their appreciation following the event, sharing their thanks and commenting on how much they enjoyed spending the morning with friends from the home.
The atmosphere throughout the gathering was described as bubbly and happy, with smiles all around. A standout highlight was seeing residents joking with one another and the joy evident on their faces as they connected over coffee and conversation.
Events such as the Community Valentine’s Coffee Morning play an important role in promoting social interaction, maintaining relationships and supporting wellbeing within Four Acres. The home remains committed to organising meaningful activities that encourage residents to come together and celebrate special occasions as a community.
