This September, Madelayne Court Care Home part of the Runwood Homes Group, warmly welcomed a very special new resident, Vera, a long-time friend of the home who has now officially joined the Madelayne family.
For years, Vera had been a regular visitor to Madelayne Court, often coming in with her church choir to sing, laugh, and spend time with the many friends she made over the years. Her presence always brought joy to the home, and she quickly became a much-loved part of the community.
As time passed and her health and mobility needs changed, Vera made the decision to move into Madelayne Court permanently, a place already filled with familiar faces and trusted friends.

The whole team at Madelayne Court came together to ensure Vera’s arrival was as warm and welcoming as possible. It was an emotional moment for her family, but they were comforted knowing Vera was happy, safe, and surrounded by friends who care for her deeply.
Her journey is a touching reminder of how deep-rooted connections and community spirit are what forms Madelayne Court.
