Ivy Court Care Home part of the Runwood Homes Group, had a lively Halloween party.
Home Manager Stacey Dean expressed the importance of the event, saying:
“Our residents absolutely love to party, so why wouldn’t we celebrate this occasion? It’s about creating moments that make them smile and feel connected.”
The afternoon featured a live performance by singer Alan Turner, who praised Ivy Court’s warm and vibrant atmosphere, remarking that “Ivy Court is the best home for throwing a party, and other homes have a lot to live up to.”
Guests enjoyed a range of themed activities including spooky Halloween bingo, fancy dress, and plenty of singing and dancing. The atmosphere was described as loud and fun showcasing the strong sense of community at Ivy Court.
A particularly memorable highlight was seeing residents dancing and singing along together, a moment that captured the heart of the celebration and the joy it brought to everyone present.
