Sunshine, laughter and community spirit were in full swing as Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, hosted its monthly themed celebration, this time transforming the home into a vibrant seaside escape for a Beach Party extravaganza!
The event brought together residents, staff, and families for a fun-filled day bursting with colour, music, and joy. The room was beautifully decorated, with everyone getting into the spirit by dressing in beachwear, from Hawaiian shirts to sunhats.
The event featured live entertainment from popular local singer Alan, with many residents and family members singing and dancing along to classic tunes. Refreshments and delicious fruit salad were served, adding to the summery seaside vibe.
The atmosphere was described as amazing, with families commenting on what a lovely get-together it was for all involved. A particularly wonderful moment came when several family members joined their loved ones on the dance floor, a true celebration of connection and community.
