Residents of Ashwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, turned up the fun and danced the afternoon away at a silent disco held on 18th January to celebrate Monica’s birthday. The event, organised by Monica’s family, brought joy and excitement to the main lounge as residents and staff joined in the celebrations.
Monica, the guest of honour, shared her delight: “I had the best birthday celebrating with everyone and having a dance with the headphones!”
The silent disco allowed participants to pick their favourite songs through headphones, creating a personalised and engaging musical experience. Dancing and laughter filled the room as residents and staff celebrated together.
“Anything involving music is always a big hit here,” remarked a staff member. “It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and connecting through their love of music.”
