On the 31st January 2024, a group of residents and dedicated staff from Ashwood care home in Hertfordshire embarked on a memorable journey to Southend. The trip commenced with a visit to the Southend aquarium, providing an immersive and fascinating experience for all.
Despite the unpredictable British weather, the rain graciously held off, allowing the group to enjoy the views along the seafront. To complete the seaside experience, everyone indulged in the traditional delight of fish and chips, savouring the taste of the ocean air.
