Residents, families, and staff at Bramwell Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 14th February for a joyous Valentine’s Day celebration, filled with love, music, and togetherness.
The afternoon tea party was a lively affair featuring live music, dancing, delicious snacks, drinks, and a special Valentine’s cake. The event created an uplifting atmosphere, where residents and their loved ones could celebrate the special day in a meaningful way.
Adding an extra touch of romance, the care home also hosted a couples’ Valentine’s dinner in the café, where residents and their partners enjoyed a three-course meal paired with their favourite red wine. One particularly touching moment was when a family member, unaware of the surprise, was invited to dine with her husband, making for an emotional and unforgettable reunion.
A family member of one of the residents expressed their appreciation, saying: “Bramwell has something very unique and special there. A massive thank you to everyone who works there. Great party, dancing, music, and Valentine smiles.”
Home Manager Mable, shared the inspiration behind the event: “At Bramwell, we believe in family and love. Valentine’s Day is a time for loved ones to come together, and we wanted to create a special experience for our residents and their families.”
