Braywood Gardens Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, has been buzzing with excitement and joy as it recently marked not one, but three incredible 100th birthday milestones from August to September. Residents Nora, Jean, and Betty each reached their centenary, and the care home ensured each celebration was as unique and special as the ladies themselves.
Lifestyle Co-Ordinators, Lydia and Michelle, shared their enthusiasm:
“Having three 100th birthdays in the space of a month was so exciting for us. We felt it was so important to celebrate each one and to make their day as special as possible.”
The centenary celebrations took place throughout April and September, with each birthday marked by a joyful party surrounded by family, friends, staff, and fellow residents. The atmosphere across the events was one full of love and laughter, as guests came together to celebrate the incredible lives of Nora, Jean, and Betty.
Each event was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and plenty of cake, creating cherished memories for the celebrants and their loved ones. The care team worked closely with the residents’ families to make the days truly unforgettable.
