Braywood Gardens Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, is celebrating a remarkable achievement after receiving a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The home has officially been rated as ‘Good’ in all areas, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to providing high-quality care.
Under the leadership of new Senior Home Manager Jeffrey Ford, the team has worked collaboratively to enhance the home’s services, and their dedication has been recognised in the recent inspection. The CQC report highlights the warm and compassionate environment at Braywood Gardens, with inspectors noting the compassion and person-centred care provided to residents.
The report commended the leadership and team spirit within the home, stating, “People were treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. They treated them as individuals and supported their preferences.” Inspectors also praised the management team, adding, “Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive, helping staff develop in their roles. Staff felt supported to give feedback and were treated equally.” The atmosphere at Braywood Gardens was described as “positive and relaxed,” with a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Braywood Gardens, a 99-bed residential and dementia care home, has even greater aspirations, having recently applied to expand its services to include nursing care. To mark this new outstanding achievement, the home is inviting the local community to join in a special celebration event on Wednesday, 26th March 2025. This joyous event will be open to the public, offering an opportunity to meet the dedicated team, tour the facility, and learn more about the excellent care provided.
