Meet Our Home Manager

Welcome to Elizabeth House, where you can find out all you need to know about our wonderful home. We are a 108 bedroom, spacious and newly furbished home located in Benfleet Road.

The home consists of two units, Poppy and Bluebell. Each unit is set over two floors and is equipped with their own lounge and dining rooms. We have so much to offer here at Elizabeth House, including an onsite hairdressing salon, a shop, the Garden Café, a bar, a library and sports room. There are regular activities taking place throughout the home, including bingo, quizzes, karaoke, arts and crafts and more.

Our chef creates very nutritious and appetising meals for residents. We invite you to pop in and have a look around the home and ask any questions you may have. Alternatively, you may email or call us. We are always happy to help in any way we can. We are so proud of our home and look forward to sharing it with you.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.

An outstanding place for my aunt to be in. All the staff treat all residents like their own family. There is nothing I can say wrong about this place. From the moment I enter the building to the time I leave, I see only helpful staff making sure residents are relaxed rested and well looked after. The social media page also helps wonders, as we get to see a more in-depth side to the care and laughs given. I could go on and on.
