Welcome to Lancaster Court, a purpose-built care home. Lancaster Court has been designed to accommodate individuals living with Dementia, Frailty and physical disabilities for both residential and nursing care requirements.
My name is Ann Hill, and I have been the home manager since it’s opening in 2009. The home has truly developed its own unique personality, including the residents, staff and pets, making the home a warm and stimulating environment to live in.

Food & Nutrition
At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.
Activities & Events
Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated wellbeing lead within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The wellbeing lead will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
