Samantha Capper

With over 18 years of experience in the health and social care sector, I’m a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager committed to providing the highest standards of person-centred care. I began my career in domiciliary care and have since gained extensive experience across a range of settings, including nursing, elderly care, and children’s mental health. Throughout my career, I’ve achieved a variety of qualifications and awards that reflect my commitment to professional growth and excellence in care.

I take a hands-on approach to leadership and pride myself on building supportive, well-led environments where both residents and staff can thrive. I have a deep understanding of complex care needs and a strong focus on developing and empowering my team. I’m passionate about maintaining compliance, enhancing quality of life for residents, and promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and excellence in every aspect of care delivery.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
