Greetings! I am delighted to welcome everyone to Longview Care Home. Our staff are friendly and compassionate, and fully trained to deliver a holistic, person-centred approach to caring for residents. We aim to provide a homely, friendly and relaxing environment for everyone. We encourage our residents to take part in our activities and live in full engagement. With hard work, patience and dedication, I believe that nothing is impossible to achieve. I am looking forward to welcoming you to Longview.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
