Meet Our Home Manager

Donna Winterborne

Donna has over thirty five years’ of experience working across health and social care. Donna has progressed from domestic assistant through to home manager during her career development and is an established and highly regarded manager within the Runwood Homes group.

 

Donna has high expectations of her team and encourages career progression; Donna herself has completed her NVQ 5 and her Level 3 in Dementia Care. Donna strives for excellence and has won internal awards on several occasions; including Manager of the Year. Donna is proud to have been awarded in the Top 20 most recommended homes in the East of England awards via Carehome.co.uk.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
