My sister-in-law came into Chelmunds Court for respite care. It is important to relatives to know their loved ones are happy and cared for and this home is excellent at this and gives us peace of mind. Well done to all the staff - you do an excellent job.

Activities & Events

At Chelmunds Court, we understand that every resident is unique. Our wellbeing and enrichment programme is tailored to individual interests, helping residents stay active, build confidence, and enjoy social interaction each day. Activities range from visits to local attractions using our minibus service and hosting monthly community events to joining the Runwood Ramblers walking group, alongside a wide variety of activities within the home.

Food & Nutrition

At Chelmunds Court, we follow the guidelines of the British Dietetic Association and the Care Home Digest to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are consistently met. Our freshly prepared meals cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences, bringing residents together in a welcoming, social, and dignified atmosphere where every mealtime is both enjoyable and nourishing.

Hello, my name is Geraldine, and welcome to Chelmunds Court. I have 21 years of experience in care and have been proud to be part of the Runwood Homes family since 2012. One of my strongest qualities is taking on challenges, which has helped me grow into a better leader and mentor.
