Maun View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, are proud to celebrate the enduring love story of husband and wife Philip and Jackie, whose marriage has been filled with special memories and treasured traditions.
Philip and Jackie were married on 19th December 1992, beginning a partnership built on love, commitment, and shared experiences. Over the years, they created many happy moments together, but one tradition stands out as Jackie’s favourite.
Each year, the couple would travel to Portugal to spend Christmas and New Year together, a cherished ritual that became a highlight of their life as a married couple. Those festive trips abroad were filled with warmth, celebration, and quality time, creating lasting memories that Jackie continues to hold close to her heart.
Today at Maun View Care Home, their story is a wonderful reminder of the joy found in shared traditions and the strength of a loving marriage.
