Loganberry Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, marked Mother’s Day weekend with a beautiful collaboration with Equippers Church.

Thanks to the generosity of Equippers Church, a local community group connected to the care home, every female resident received a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate the occasion. The thoughtful donation ensured that each lady felt remembered and appreciated during Mother’s Day weekend.

Naomi, Lifestyle Coordinator at Loganberry Lodge, reflected on the moment, saying, “It was such a blessing to be able to give all our wonderful ladies a bouquet of flowers this Mother’s Day weekend. They were all so appreciative and their smiles were contagious.”

The impact of the gesture was felt not only by residents but also by relatives and the wider community. One relative shared, “That’s so wonderful, my mum adores her flowers, it really brightened her mood.” Community members also praised the initiative, with comments such as, “To see the ladies’ smiles, it’s beautiful,” and “What a wonderful and generous act of kindness.”

Community engagement plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents, helping them feel connected. Acts of kindness like this highlight the importance of maintaining strong links between care homes and the communities around them, creating moments that truly make a difference.

Loganberry Lodge remains committed to creating meaningful experiences for residents, ensuring that special occasions like Mother’s Day are celebrated with warmth, thoughtfulness, and a strong sense of community.
