Residents, families, and staff at Liberty House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, embraced the Halloween spirit this year with a series of fun-filled celebrations, including a Halloween Party on 27th October and a cosy PJ Movie Day on 31st October.
The home was alive with laughter, singing, and dancing as residents enjoyed live entertainment from singer Brian, who never fails to get everyone moving and singing along. The Halloween festivities were followed by a relaxing movie day, where residents spent time together in their Halloween-themed pyjamas, enjoying a calm and cheerful atmosphere.
Jody, Lifestyle Coordinator at Liberty House, shared:
“We do love this time of year with all the festive dates. We enjoyed a spooktacular Halloween party with lots of dancing, singing, and smiles all around!”
Residents Yvonne and Julie added:
“We had a great time! They always put on great entertainment for us and work so hard. We always enjoy a good singalong with singer Brian.”
The celebrations brought together residents, staff, and family members, making for a truly heartwarming event. The highlight of the party was seeing family members dancing alongside their loved ones which was a moment that filled everyone’s hearts with joy.
Jody added, “It’s important to celebrate seasonal occasions like Halloween, as they help our residents reminisce about happy memories and continue Liberty House’s cherished traditions.”
The atmosphere throughout the celebrations was described as joyful, energetic, and full of movement, with hips grooving and smiles all around.
