Residents at Longview Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were delighted to receive an extra special Easter surprise when Apex Steel Works paid a visit to the home on Wednesday 9th April. The generous team from the local company arrived bearing delicious cakes and were accompanied by none other than the Easter Bunny – much to the residents’ delight!
This special visit brightened the day for residents at Longview and brought everyone together in laughter and joy.
The atmosphere was full of fun and Easter joy, with residents enjoying the sweet treats and dancing along with the Easter Bunny. One resident, Vicky, shared how wonderful it was to be treated to some lovely treats, and she “enjoyed a boogie with the bunny!”
A particularly special moment was when the Easter Bunny made personal visits to residents who were unable to leave their rooms, spreading cheer throughout the entire home.
The partnership between Longview and Apex Steel Works has been growing over time, with the company regularly donating craft supplies and other thoughtful items. This latest gesture was a perfect example of how local businesses can make a meaningful impact in their communities.
