Residents, families and staff at Ashwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a lively Easter Party on Good Friday (3 April 2026), filled with music, laughter and togetherness.
The afternoon featured a live singer who quickly got everyone involved. Residents were soon dancing, singing and clapping along, creating a warm, feel-good atmosphere that carried throughout the home.
The event brought the whole community together and offered a special way to celebrate Easter. It gave residents the opportunity to enjoy time with loved ones and share in a joyful occasion.
Feedback from the day was very positive. Residents said they really enjoyed themselves, while one family member described it as “a lovely afternoon,” adding that it was touching to see everyone having such a good time.
The idea came from wanting to mark Easter in a simple but meaningful way, and it was clear from the smiles, music and laughter that it was a great success.
