Residents of Four Acres Care Home, soared through history on a memorable minibus trip to RAF Cosford Museum on 24th February, where they spent the day surrounded by legendary aircraft and fascinating military artefacts.
The trip was organised by Lifestyle Coordinator Diane Wood, the trip was a special outing just for the gentlemen of Four Acres, providing a chance to relive memories, explore aviation history, and enjoy a day of camaraderie. From marvelling at iconic planes to trying on military hats, the residents were fully immersed in the experience.
“What a fantastic day today!” said resident Lionel, beaming with excitement.
To top off the adventure, the group enjoyed a homemade picnic, sharing stories and laughter in the heart of the museum. With free entry and a wealth of history to discover, it was the perfect setting for a day filled with fun and nostalgia.
