Residents from Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently enjoyed a delightful outing to Hainault Forest for a walk and coffee.
One resident, Frank, shared his enthusiasm for the visit, saying he hadn’t been to Hainault Forest for many years and described the walk as “nice” and the opportunity to see the zoo as particularly enjoyable. Frank also reminisced about previous visits to the forest with his grandchildren, making this trip especially meaningful.
The visit, which took place last week, gave residents the chance to experience the fresh air, take a leisurely stroll through the park, and enjoy seeing the animals at the zoo. Such outings are important for residents as they provide stimulation, enjoyment, and opportunities to connect with nature.
Frank Foster House is committed to enhancing the wellbeing of its residents through activities that foster social engagement and memorable experiences such as this.
