Greenbanks care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, proudly hosted an enchanting afternoon tea to commemorate Silver Sunday on the 16th of October, warmly inviting the local community to join in the festivities. The event was further enhanced by the presence of local councillors Colin and Mark, demonstrating the community’s commitment to fostering connections across all ages.
A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the Star of the Month award by Mark Watkin, County Councillor, to one of Greenbanks‘ dedicated staff members. This new initiative recognises the outstanding contributions of staff, celebrating their hard work and commitment to excellence.
Guests enjoyed a delightful selection of afternoon tea treats, complemented by live music from a talented singer. The event also featured a raffle, offering exciting prizes that brought an extra touch of joy to the afternoon.
