Greenbanks Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled with pride and emotion as resident Eric unveiled his very own solo art exhibition, celebrating his growing passion and remarkable talent for sketching. The event was officially opened by Watford MP Matt Turmaine, who was joined by residents, families, and team members for an afternoon of tea, cake, and conversation.
The atmosphere was warm and joyful, with many guests moved by Eric’s artwork, including sketches inspired by his own life and experiences at Greenbanks. One particularly touching moment came when Eric presented a sketch depicting his minibus trip, which brought happy tears to those attending. MP Matt Turmaine was so impressed by Eric’s work that he decided to hang one of the pieces in his office.
Eric’s journey into art began after his earlier exhibition at Harlow Library sparked a lasting enthusiasm for sketching. Since then, he has continued to create beautiful pieces that capture everyday moments with creativity and heart.
