The garden was buzzing with activity as guests indulged in a delectable cake sale and a BBQ feast that left everyone’s taste buds dancing. The party featured engaging games like “Guess the Name of the Teddy” and “Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar,” with exciting prizes up for grabs. Lively entertainment and creative face painting added an extra splash of fun to the festivities.
This heartwarming event was the result of a dedicated team effort. The Lifestyle Coordinators and home administrator orchestrated the day’s activities, while the kitchen staff delighted everyone with their culinary creations. Greenbanks unit manager’s impressive cakes were a highlight of the sale, and the Care Team Leaders captivated the children with their face painting talents. The care and domestic staff worked diligently to support residents throughout the event and ensure a smooth clean-up, showcasing a true team effort.
Leonora Coughlin, Lifestyle Coordinator at Greenbanks, expressed her enthusiasm: “This event brought the whole community together. It was a fun-filled event with lots of entertainment, even had a tune from one of our Lifestyle Coordinators. The residents loved spending time with their family and friends. The chefs did an amazing job with the food, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The children were very happy with their face painting and the games we had. The residents said they cannot wait for the next one!”
