Residents at Highview Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed an engaging and thought-provoking minibus trip to the Tring Museum on 7 January 2026, combining learning, community exploration and social time together.
The group visited the renowned Museum of Taxidermy, where residents had the opportunity to learn more about animals from around the world, how they lived, and the environments they came from. The outing also included a relaxing stop at a café for light refreshments, giving residents time to chat and reflect on what they had seen.
The trip was attended by residents John, Albert, Ros and Colin, supported by staff members Tina and Kim, ensuring everyone was comfortable and able to fully enjoy the experience.
Lisa, Home Manager at Highview Lodge, commented:
“Outings like this are so important for our residents. Exploring the world around us and visiting places in the community.”
The visit to Tring Museum reflects Highview Lodge’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, learning and connection with the wider community.
