Ivy Court Care Home in Doncaster, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently celebrated a significant milestone as resident Sylvia turned 90 years old on the 8th of November. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments as staff and residents came together to make Sylvia’s special day unforgettable.
The celebrations included a delightful afternoon tea, where Sylvia was surrounded by friends, both old and new, as they toasted to her remarkable 90 years. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that Sylvia felt loved and cherished, making it a truly memorable occasion.
Stacey Dean, Home Manager at Ivy Court, shared “We couldn’t let Sylvia’s 90th birthday go by without celebrating her special day. It was wonderful to see the smile on her face as she shared her afternoon tea with staff and residents at the home. A fabulous afternoon had by all for an amazing lady.”
