Ivy Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was bursting with excitement and community spirit on Saturday 26th July as residents, families, staff, and members of the local community came together for a vibrant Summer Fayre, raising an incredible £1,000 for the home.
The much-loved event featured a variety of stalls, a bouncy castle, delicious hot food, popcorn, and refreshments. The day was filled with joy and laughter as attendees of all ages joined in the fun.
Home Manager Stacey Dean summarised the event, commenting, “Our summer fayre was a great event, very well attended by the community, family, staff and residents. The event brought everyone together for an afternoon of fun whilst raising an amazing £1000 for the home.”
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the beaming smiles of the residents as they browsed the stalls and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by loved ones and staff. The fayre served not only as a successful fundraiser but also as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the home and strengthen community ties.
