Leawood Manor Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled with joy and celebration as resident Mary marked an extraordinary milestone, her 100th birthday, on Thursday 11th July.
To honour the occasion, a party was organised by Mary’s loving family and friends, with support from the dedicated team at Leawood Manor. The celebration brought generations together, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere as guests gathered to show their love and appreciation for Mary’s incredible life.
One of the most touching highlights of the day was Mary receiving her official birthday card from His Majesty the King, a moment that brought smiles and tears to everyone in the room. Surrounded by those who care most for her, Mary was visibly moved as she cut her cake and shared the moment with her loved ones.
