Liberty House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled with joy, laughter, and sweet surprises this Easter as a special visitor made an appearance. The Easter Bunny delighted both residents and staff with a heartwarming visit, handing out mini chocolate crème eggs and creating moments that will be cherished long after the holiday.
The surprise event took place on 2 April 2026, continuing a much-loved tradition that has been part of Liberty House for the past four years.
Doreen, a resident, shared her excitement:
“What a wonderful surprise it was to see the Easter Bunny. I thought I was dreaming, but it was a great experience.”
Brian, a resident, added:
“I did not expect to see the Easter Bunny walk into my bedroom, but it was great to see and have a lovely chat with.”
Kennedy, Care Team Leader, commented:
“I think it’s a great experience for our residents. Everyone, including staff, were treated to some chocolate and a photo.”
The event brought together residents and staff in a shared moment of happiness, reinforcing the importance of creating uplifting and engaging experiences within the home. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with laughter and joy, as the Easter Bunny visited rooms, greeted individuals personally, and spread festive cheer.
At Liberty House events like this play a vital role in enhancing wellbeing.
