Residents at Longview Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were treated to an afternoon of line dancing from the talented Carol Liners group.
During a conversation with Longview’s well-being team, resident Sally expressed how she was line dancing up until she was 92 years old. This sparked the idea to transform the dining room into a dance floor, where residents, staff, families, and visitors all joined in. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, laughter, and a true sense of community.
The event also coincided with Sally’s 100th birthday. Everyone in the room came together to sing a belated ‘Happy Birthday,’ creating a touching and unforgettable moment for Sally and her fellow residents.
