Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly announced the opening of the “Happy Hands Nail Boutique” on the 1st of September. This unique boutique, located within the care home, was created to provide residents with a luxurious and therapeutic hand care experience, emphasising the importance of self-care and wellbeing.
The idea for the boutique originated from the home manager, who proposed transforming a previously unused shop space into a dedicated area for hand care services. The newly opened boutique offered residents a comfortable and familiar environment to enjoy nail care, including hand massages and pampering sessions.
The opening day was a joyful occasion, bringing together residents and staff to celebrate this new addition to the home. Residents expressed their happiness with the boutique’s services, finding relaxation and a sense of renewed self-care. One resident remarked, “It’s so refreshing. It’s been a long time since I’ve pampered my nails like this!”
The boutique received immediate praise not only from residents but also from their families. A family member commented on social media, “You certainly work hard looking after the residents. All staff are lovely and very caring. What more could the residents ask for? Thank you.”
The Happy Hands Nail Boutique was designed specifically for Mulberry Court residents, providing an opportunity to enhance their wellbeing through personal care and social interaction. This initiative reflects Runwood Homes’ ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of its residents by introducing meaningful and enjoyable experiences tailored to their needs.
Mulberry Court Care Home continues to explore innovative ways to support the health and happiness of its residents, and the launch of the “Happy Hands Nail Boutique” marks a significant step in this mission.
