Mulberry Court Festive Creative Crafting: Bringing the Joy of Christmas to Life

On 8th December, a heartwarming festive activity brought residents and staff members of Mulberry Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, together for a day of creativity, teamwork, and holiday cheer. The event, titled Festive Creative Crafting, provided residents with the opportunity to create personalised Christmas trees while embracing the holiday spirit.

Using cardboard rolls, cones, and vibrant coloured papers, residents and carers joined hands to craft festive displays in a cheerful, collaborative environment. Some painted cardboard rolls green to form beautiful, traditional Christmas trees, while others carefully arranged their own designs using cardboard cones and colourful paper to add their own special flair. The creations, once dried and assembled, brought the holiday spirit to life while fostering a sense of creativity and connection.

The event highlighted the importance of creativity, teamwork, and shared fun during the holiday season. Festive Creative Crafting brought happiness to residents through the warmth of the season and the kindness of the staff members of Mulberry Court.

Family members shared their thoughts on the event through Facebook comments, showing how much the experience meant to their loved ones:

“They enjoy the fun things you do for them; thank you so much!”

“My mum loves getting involved. Thank you for looking after her.”

A resident Beryl of Mulberry Court shared their thoughts on their own creativity, saying:

“I didn’t know I was so creative; it’s so lovely.”

The event was a reminder of how creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit can light up any Runwood Home and bring joy to all ages.
