Residents at Frank Foster House Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, were treated to a heartwarming and festive community visit as the Phoenix Choir from the Rotary Club of Theydon Bois returned to perform a special Christmas concert.

Commenting on the visit, Nicolas, Home Manager at  Frank Foster House, said:
“We would like to thank the Phoenix Choir and the Rotary Club for their continued support and for making today such a special occasion..”

The Phoenix Choir has been visiting Frank Foster House annually for the past 10 years, bringing with them joy, music, and a strong sense of community. During this year’s visit, the choir performed a beautiful selection of Christmas songs, which were warmly received by residents and staff alike.

The importance of maintaining strong community links was evident throughout the visit, as residents engaged with the music and shared personal reflections. Resident Christine spoke movingly about the experience, saying:
“It’s amazing to hear the choir, as I used to belong to a choir before. The Christmas songs are lovely. We are lucky.”

The atmosphere during the performance was uplifting and emotional, filled with festive cheer and fond memories. For many residents, the music sparked nostalgia and created a meaningful connection to past experiences and the wider community.

Frank Foster House would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Phoenix Choir and the Rotary Club for their dedication and continued visits, which truly enrich the lives of residents and make the festive season even more special.IMG 20251215 135539 Manager Frank Foster
