Residents and staff members of Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a refreshing outing to Stanborough Park, where they admired the stunning lake views and shared a relaxing picnic together. The home organised the trip to create an opportunity for residents to connect with nature and one another in a vibrant, outdoor setting.
The group strolled along the lakeside, appreciating the beautiful scenery before settling down to enjoy delicious food and warm conversation. The atmosphere throughout the day was cheerful and uplifting. Residents could be seen smiling, chatting, and pointing out the scenic beauty around them.
Resident Marie shared her thoughts on the day, saying:
“It was truly a wonderful experience. I enjoyed every moment, and the pleasant weather made the day even more perfect.”
Lifestyle Coordinator at Mulberry Court, Bhashia Jayalinda Deegalla, said the outing was more than just a pleasant afternoon:
