Residents at Rosedale Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a delightful seaside outing this week, as they travelled to Southend seafront for a traditional British treat of fish and chips followed by classic Mr Whippy ice cream.
The trip, which took place on 7 April, brought together residents, their loved ones, and team members for a day of fresh air, social connection, and simple pleasures by the sea. The group visited a local chip shop along the seafront, where they enjoyed a freshly prepared meal before finishing with ice cream while taking in the coastal views.
The outing highlights Rosedale Court’s ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of its residents through community engagement and enjoyable activities that promote both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Being able to spend time outdoors, connect with others, and enjoy familiar traditions plays an important role in maintaining a positive quality of life for residents at Rosedale Court, and the Southend trip was a perfect example of this in action.
