St Mary’s Church was filled with music, laughter, and the spirit of spring as over 70 residents and staff from Runwood Homes across the local area came together to celebrate the much-anticipated “Sing for Spring” event.

The uplifting gathering showcased the power of community and creativity, featuring a variety of performances and activities designed to bring people together. A highlight of the day was a heartfelt performance by Terri, a talented resident and singer, whose voice captivated the audience and set the tone for the celebration. The event was supported by Sarah Sanders and Kieun Kwon, whose contributions added depth and harmony to the musical programme.

The event also featured a joyful choir performance led by Cathy, encouraging participation and unity among attendees. The venue itself was generously provided by Cathy, whose support helped make the event possible and ensured a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Adding to the joy of Spring, guests enjoyed seasonal touches including a cheerful Easter Bunny visit, which brought smiles and excitement to residents and staff alike. Creative activities such as daffodil-themed crafts and the lively “Quiz by Jack” further engaged attendees, offering moments of fun, connection, and friendly competition.

“Sing for Spring” not only celebrated the arrival of a new season but also highlighted the importance of community, wellbeing, and shared experiences within Runwood Homes..
