Watford Mayor and local councillors join the celebrations at Lancaster Court care home

Lancaster Court care home in Watford celebrated the hard work of the Lancaster care team, with a summer BBQ and a fundraiser for Hertfordshire MIND.

The day was celebrated with family, friends and the community of Watford, providing a variety of refreshments, food and music.

In attendance at this special celebration event was the local elected Mayor, Peter Taylor, Councillor, Tim Williams of Woodside Stanborough Division and Councillor Rabi Martins.

During their visit, they personally congratulated everyone on their continuous hard work and dedication to providing high quality care at Lancaster Court.

Peter Taylor, Elected Mayor of Watford (Lib Dem) said: “It was wonderful to visit everyone at Lancaster Court care home for this special event. As ever, the staff provided such a warm welcome and it was great to chat with the residents here and enjoy the entertainment. I was so grateful to them for donating £500 for Herts Mind. I know that this will be used by them to support positive mental health and wellbeing.”

Home Manager at Lancaster Court, Ann Hill, and Regional Director, Kirstan Sparshott, said:

“We would like to say a big thank you to our distinguished guests, residents, fellow Managers and staff, for taking the time to attend our special garden party and joining us in the celebration of the service provided by the Lancaster team.”
