Residents at Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed their very own Winter Olympics celebration, taking part in a range of fun games while cheering on Team England.
The home was filled with excitement as residents embraced the spirit of the Winter Olympics through friendly competition, team activities and plenty of encouragement for one another. The event provided an opportunity for everyone to get involved, stay active and share in the enjoyment of a global sporting celebration.
One resident, Mike, who previously worked as a PE teacher, particularly enjoyed the day. His passion for sport and enthusiasm for the Olympic Games added to the energy of the event and inspired those around him to get involved.
The activities encouraged movement, social interaction and teamwork, supporting both physical wellbeing and positive mental health. Events like these play an important role in creating meaningful experiences, strengthening friendships and promoting a sense of community within the home.
The Winter Olympics celebration was a fantastic success, leaving residents smiling and already looking forward to the next community event at Frank Foster House.
