Team members from Woodbury Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, made a meaningful visit to Dogs Trust Basildon to deliver a generous collection of donations in support of dogs in need. Representing the home were Linda, the Residents’ Ambassador; Pam, the Dementia Champion; and Jordan and Gayle, the home’s dedicated Wellbeing Leads.
The group received a warm welcome from the Dogs Trust team and were treated to a VIP tour of the Dogs Trust facilities, where they met several of the adorable dogs currently waiting to be adopted into loving homes.
The donation drive was a community effort, with staff, residents, families, and friends contributing to the cause. The Dogs Trust team expressed sincere gratitude for the support, noting the impact such donations have on the care and wellbeing of the animals.
This initiative not only helps local dogs in need but also strengthens the bonds between the care home and the wider community.
