Welcome to Low Furlong, our lovely purpose-built home. I am Amie I work at Low Furlong, situated just on the outskirts of the Cotswolds. Recently being appointed Acting Manager.
We provide person-centred care in our beautiful, busy, and bustling home. I have worked in care for over 20 years and truly believe that residents are at the heart of all we do. Everyone that walks through the door at Low Furlong comments on the lovely atmosphere.
Low Furlong has strong links and relationships with the local community and strives to create a family feel whilst providing high quality care and a huge range of activities for residents.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.
Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
