Welcome to Low Furlong, our lovely purpose-built home. My name is Amie Parton, and I am the home manager of Low Furlong. I truly believe that residents are at the heart of all we do. We champion individuality, shaping our daily activities around residents’ interests.

Low Furlong has strong ties to the local community. We host monthly community events to encourage connection, inclusion and social engagement.

We strive to create a family feel while providing high-quality care and a wide range of activities for our residents. We champion person-centred care, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. My door is always open if you have any questions or queries.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
