Orchard Blythe Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, was alive with colour, music and movement on 27th February 2026 as residents, families, friends and staff came together to enjoy a vibrant belly dancing performance.
After residents expressed interest in experiencing something different, Michelle, Lifestyle Coordinator at Orchard Blythe, reached out to professional belly dancers to bring a new and exciting cultural experience into the home.
The performance quickly turned into an interactive celebration, with residents and their loved ones singing and dancing alongside the performers. The atmosphere throughout the day was fun, exciting and full of happiness, with everyone joining together to share the moment.
Residents were delighted by the experience. One resident commented, “This is lovely, thank you,” while another shared, “This is just amazing.”
