Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, marked St David’s Day on Sunday 1st March with a heartwarming celebration that brought residents and their families together in a joyful tribute to Welsh tradition.
The event, which focused on creativity and connection, saw residents arranging fresh daffodils and taking part in a painting activity where they created their own beautiful daffodil artwork. The much-loved national flower of Wales took centre stage, brightening the home with vibrant colours and cheerful displays.
Residents and their loved ones enjoyed a lovely and happy atmosphere throughout the day, with plenty of smiles and shared moments. The involvement of family members added to the sense of community, making the celebration even more meaningful.
At Mulberry Court, recognising special cultural days and encouraging family participation remains a key part of supporting residents’ wellbeing, ensuring life in the home continues to be filled with familiar traditions, creativity and connection.
