Blackthorns Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, is proud to announce it has received the Values Award for “We Grow Together 2025” from Essex Dental Clinic, in recognition of its exceptional collaboration and dedication to resident care through dental health initiatives.
The award ceremony took place on 2nd October 2025 during the Essex Dental Clinic’s Ambassador Day, where care staff, management, and dental professionals gathered to celebrate joint successes and future partnerships.
This award is a true testament to the hard work and commitment shown by the team at Blackthorns, in partnership with Essex Dental Clinic. Blackthorns are honoured to have their efforts recognised and excited to continue working together over the next three years.
The partnership began as a pilot project, with the Essex Dental Clinic providing in-house visits, treatments, and training for Blackthorns staff.
The atmosphere at the event was full of joy and pride, as staff celebrated the achievement and the continued focus on resident wellbeing. One standout moment was the announcement of the Values Award itself, acknowledging Blackthorns‘ dedication to growth and collaborative care.
