Bramwell Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently hosted a special afternoon tea to thank families and friends of residents for their generous support in creating a beautiful new garden for everyone to enjoy.
The event brought together residents, relatives, and staff for a relaxed afternoon filled with tea, cakes, scones, and lively conversation. Tables were decorated with fresh flowers, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Mable Joloza, Home Manager at Bramwell, expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, ideas, and resources to make the garden project a reality. “The garden has truly transformed our home,” she said. “It’s more than just plants and pathways, it’s a space filled with love and care. We could not have achieved this without the wonderful support of our families and friends.”
The garden now offers residents a peaceful and uplifting space to enjoy the outdoors, socialise, and participate in activities. The event reflects Bramwell’s ongoing commitment to care, community, and wellbeing.
Amanda Fletcher, a family member, shared her appreciation, stating, “On behalf of our entire family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for the way you cared for Mum, with dignity, tenderness, and unwavering warmth. Mable, your leadership is not simply operational, it is cultural, emotional, and profoundly human. You gave Mum not just care, but presence. And in doing so, you gave us peace. Team Bramwell, will remain forever in our hearts.”
