Residents, families, staff, and members of the local community gathered at Braywood Gardens Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, for a fun-filled dog show in aid of Jerry Green Dog Shelter.
Eight dogs took part in the event, competing in a range of judged categories. Medals, rosettes, and prizes were awarded to the winners, much to the delight of participants and spectators alike.
The atmosphere was lively and heartwarming, with residents especially enjoying the chance to interact with the dogs, many of which belonged to their own families or familiar members of staff. The joy on the residents’ faces as they watched the show was a true highlight of the day.
Leanne Simms, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Braywood , praised the event: “Staff, families, and residents absolutely loved this event. Seeing all the dogs and enjoying the show made everyone smile, all while supporting a great cause.”
The event was part of Braywood Gardens’ ongoing effort to raise funds for Jerry Green Dog Shelter, with the idea of a dog show proving to be a creative and well-received initiative.
