My name is Jenna,  started my career in care 24 years ago as a domestic, progressing through many roles including laundry assistant, kitchen assistant, carer, head of care, deputy manager and manager.

Working in care is not just a job to me, it’s a passion.I am committed to ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable and happy

I deeply believe that every resident should be treated as an individual and care should always be tailored to their individual needs, I love nothing more than seeing the smiles on the faces of those we care for

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.

It was a very difficult decision to place my in-laws in a care home but such a relief that they could be together. Tremendous love and care were given to them both... and when my father- in-law died, the staff were so compassionate and even went to his funeral.
