My name is Amanda Thackery, the Home Manager at Waterfield House. I have worked at Waterfield House for around nine and a half years, working my way up from Care Assistant.
As a Home Manager, I aim to be visible, approachable and a good mentor. I strive to enable a residents’ care journey to be as dignified as possible. I always encourage my team to perform to their very best ability, whilst also allowing them to learn and reflect. I find it important to build a good rapport with residents, staff, relatives, and professionals.
Please feel free to approach me anytime. My door will always be open.
